The Antique Galleries is a group of antique stores located throughout Texas. Each store features its own area of expertise amongst many styles of antiques suiting collectors’ varying interests.
Project Challenges
Six stores with six different personalities under one umbrella required a plan that would balance uniqueness with continuity. Steve Horn offered a plan and a schedule to follow that would execute six complete websites in around three to four months time. While there were some variations brought about by the needs of each store manager, WordPress was a great tool for managing both cohesiveness with individuality. WordPress’s ability to grow and adapt its organization of content gave each store the flexibility it required with a look that held all six websites together to be a community valuing diversity.
Their former websites were falling into deprecation with oncoming of Google’s “Mobilegeddon” and the end of support of their older content management system. The worldwide community that supports WordPress was a sure shot to make certain this would not happen again.
